K-3 Skills Needed for Fluent Reading
Reading readiness prepares the learner's eyes, ears, hands, and mind to perform the skills necessary for learning to read and write. Reading Readiness skills are those skills that are needed in order for K-3 students to become active readers. Such as developing an awareness of the essential elements of the reading and writing process.
